Okay, so just to get this straight... You ONLY have the cards through this new special interface. I can't use blank cards with those prices for my clients? If my clients want cards, they use the 4x8 photos and then have those printed up? No envelopes? I'm just trying to clarify!

Thanks so much! This is *really* cool and I can't wait to be able to customize it myself and sell it to my customers!! :D

    Andi,

Card are now available via the cart, so you can create your own, but they need to be cropped to 4x8 as cropping has been disabled for that item in the cart.

    yes, they come with envelopes.

    Cheers,

    David

headscratch.gif When I go into Pro Pricing, I'm not seeing an option to price them for my customers... Am I looking in the wrong place? (I have 3 clients who would LOVE this option right now! :D) Thanks!

This function is only available for smugmug account holders at this point.

Don't know much about it, but there's a way to set up a temp admin user account. Is this a possible loophole for this? I have tons of family that I trust and would give them a login like this if it made it possible for them to order..

    Problem with Cards
The cards look nice, the firstime I tried it seemed to work.

But now when I select create a card, the flash loads, says to pick a category, but there are no categories listed in the box below and the image is also not displayed.

To clarify, the card sku's will only show up in the cart for YOUR PHOTOS when you're LOGGED IN. Cards are not shown in the pro-pricing tool and not available to non-SmugMug subscribers at this time.

If you want to create your own card, you can whip up something in photoshop, upload it to a gallery and purchase it that way. Just make sure it will fit on a 4x8 print as cropping is disabled for cards.

    Clear as mud?

Looks like we're having problems with custom domains and the card builder. Try using your .smugmug.com url instead of your custom domain name.

Thanks for the clarification.... Just wanted to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding!mwink.gif

On a side note, add me the list of people who would love to do this for the clients - even without the cool templates! :D

Thanks again for the new tool!

Will the photos undergo color correction if we choose the right (auto instead of true color) option?

    can't create a card

So I have to disable the function I put in to always change my smugmug name to my own domain name to use this otherwise the issue with pick a category doesn't show up. Sort of kills me here. Do we have an ETA on getting this to work with custom domains.

Forget my customers - my wife is ready to kill me since she wants these ordered tonight.:cry:cry

Hi, I have already answered you from the help desk ... we're really sorry, please use your nickname.smugmug.com not your custom domain, and the card creator will work fine. Sorry for the hassle.

    Andy -

I made it work. I understand that this is new and all but since there is no such thing as a dev site I am always loath to change things like the fact that I do the custom rename function so it never shows as my nickname.smugmug.com

I will re-enable the function as soon as I have ordered the cards.

Any ETA on the fix for cutsom domain names?

I hadn't seen your reply when I needed to get this done. You guys have always been great so - sorry if it seemed like I was complaining.

    Thanks for the help!

I see the Cards tab, but nothing in the tab. The Flash loads fine, no errors. Ah...I have the redirect thing turned on so I never see a smugmug.com either...let me play with that...

Sorry guys, but it isn't working for me either. I see the "Click 'Catagories' below" message and a tab labeled "Cards", but nothing on the tab and nowhere on the page does it say "Catagories".

The photo I selected is ghosted in the background and there's a slider in the upper left that changes the size of the image (although if you move the slider the photo gets smaller and moving the slider to 100% doesn't bring it back to the original size).

I'm using IE v7.0.5730.13 on WinXP-SP2 and I have the latest Flash player installed. I have all cookie options turned on.

    Any ideas?
