You and me both! 9 months pregnant and the Dr. said I couldn't fly to HQ for the party. I don't know what she was thinking. ne_nau.gif

The party was awesome! Thanks so much for hosting this. It was great to see how many SmugMug loyalists came out for the event. A huge crowd - even during the busy holiday season. Fun to meet the entire SmugMug crew.

Enjoyed the gift giveaways, new feature demos, great food & drink, fun costume photos ... everything we love the MacAskills for!

    Keep it up guys. thumb.gif

Been around The Valley and have attended one or two "launch" events in my
time. This was certainly one of the best and I know it was just a B-day party :D

    Outstanding event.

Oh. And to Shay? Thank you SO MUCH for your contribution.

Shay shot some fun portraits and all evening too. Soooo I walked up to Shay
and made him fork over the Pocket Wizard. This is what I got.

    229869994-M.jpg

No where near what he captured but just my way of saying Thanks Shay!

And to all of the SmugMug'ers...thanks for an awesome evening at one of
The Valley's BEST events this year!

An awesome party indeed! The food was terrific, and the service was unbelievably excellent. Smugmug knows how to throw a party! The photo booth was so much fun, with much thanks to Jennifer for helping Rayna and I get into costume, she was fantastic!

I'm off to Carmel so I probably won't have a chance to post my photos until late Sunday. Maybe by then someone will set up a place for the attendees to post their pics?

I had a lot of fun seeing the large screen monitors run by a Mac Mini... and seeing Apple TV, and where the smugmuggers work all day.

It was nice to see some old friends, and to see some new faces to match to some names too!

And Shay -- he was really working hard taking all the photo booth photos.

And the Schwag, Yay, we have red caps now!

Oh, and the welcome signs outside -- and those balloon displays? A lot of thought and attention to detail was on display -- yep! Smugmug knows how to throw a party.

Thank you for having it and we hope you had as much fun as we did.

    Ed, Rayna and Dee

Most companies put up stuffy portraits of their founders, all dressed up in suits and ties 'n stuff.

    Not SmugMug.

Great shots, it looks like a lot of fun.

I especially think the lighting is great in these. Can you share the set ups?

    Andy -
Thanks so much for posting some of the names.

The shots in the gallery are so much fun, and it's nice to associate some of the names (we see here in dgrin all of the time) with the images of the people behind the names.

Looks like it was a great party!

Wow, looks like quite the partay!!! Thanks for posting some names Andy. I went through the gallery a couple of times. It's great to tie some names and faces, however, I'm still not sure I would recognize any of them on the street! eek7.gif I missed this familiar looking face my first pass through. Nice job Shay and Jennifer!

It sure was a great time.

All the SmugMuggers did a great job of making us all feel welcome. The food was great, the picture taking was a blast, and I got to meet some great new people, and catch up with some old friends (some of whom I had yet to meet in person!)

Thanks again for the great time and great hospitality. thumb.gif

Thanks for having us over, SmugMug. You sure know how to throw a good party! I think I ate like 15 of those shrimp cocktail things...pretty addictive.
