Loosely defined as signage, this plaque was inside St. Mary's Church in Cambridge, England. I find it relates to the current mini-challenge about technology.

Imagine my dismay... it was about 4pm and I had already ridden 60km and had seen this road on the map which appeared to be the shortest route to my destination which even with this "shortcut" was another 15km away. The long route would have added another 10km - eek!

So... full of trepidation I set out on the "shortcut". Turned out to be about 70% uphill (hills not being my forte as a cyclist...) and when the going got tough I had to get off and push for (ahem) extended stretches on this road with very little shoulder. And of course the thought of an unexploded bomb or hand grenade never left my mind!

Boy did I ever enjoy my wine that evening!

Nice signs, Sara and great light on them - you captured the metal so well - yes, I think it's related to technology too

Thanks Tatiana - although as I posted this one I had the thought that maybe I should process it again to try to get rid of some of my reflection. This one's from 2009 and I don't think I paid so much attention to pp then.

The metal (and glass) will always have reflections - what can we do? Nothing I guess..., but I didn't realized that those where your own reflections, until you mentioned...
