This enammelled sign has been up on a house wall in Seahouses , Northumberland, England for as long as I remember.
One of these days I'm going to knock on the door to ask if anyone applied for the position!

Hey Tony,
I thought it might be time to revive this old thread. Fits right in.
I love signs Don't know how I missed out on this thread.
Taken in NE.....
Saw this on my way to the park last winter.
And my favorite -- just can't figure this one out. Last time I checked this sign is still there. I even walked up to check to see if a number had been removed, but there hadn't been a number up there. The road does lead to a river/stream with a bridge with no sides guards. But you still need some speed to get to it
The first one fascinates me because I have absolutely no idea what message is being conveyed. The second one is funny because of the sign plus the object. The third indicates that even in southern Georgia, where this was taken, not all people take religion too seriously. Or, at least when they place their signs.

Hopefully not located anywhere near NE Indiana? or I'm dooomed.

I'm still confused by it. Are they worried about the water damaging the dead people, or is the water already on the verge, due to the dead people.
