Yeah, the styles work, SmugMug, Traditional, Slideshow - I didn't try the others .

Thanks Andy! Exactly what I wanted to see. There's still no way I'm buying one of these puppies (disposible income is rather low these days... also, I work for the competition -- Palm!), but I was curious.

Also, Phanfare, which I'm using more often than SmugMug (because they do video right) only offers Flash slideshows, which drives me crazy.

Which means Phanfare slideshows won't work on an iPhone, nor do they work on my Wii (which actually has Flash, but only v7, not v9, which Phanfare insists on forcing people to upgrade to.)

I suppose Flash may be necessary to actually enable movies to play in a slideshow, which is something SmugMug needs to consider if they ever (hah) get around to supporting video correctly.

HAHA -- I just tried doing Slideshow on my Smugmug gallery with two videos. The videos play in the background, while the foreground slideshow displays really crappy single frame captures blown up to fill the screen. Wow, that is so lame.

If God hadn't wanted you to eat meat, why did he make cows out of it?
It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

cows eat grass and produce milk. Farmer milks cows, and sells milk to icecream company. Icecream company makes icecream, which Andy buys so his son can eat icecream instead of playing with the iPhone so Andy can play with the iPhone himself.

So is this the next contest? Pictures of food to temp Andy?

While I'm thinking of it; is there any Mac user-Vegetarian/PC user-carnivore correlation?
    Regards

Lol, that is awesome! It kind of makes you take into perspective the "next new gadget" syndrome. Not that it makes me want that next new syndrome any less! rolleyes1.gif

Hey, anyone who's seen Andy "before" would be surprised to see him "after". It's quite an accomplishment, and I get the feeling that the change is here to stay. He's not gonna gain back the 50 he's lost. Hasta la vista, baby! :D

I've been looking at Andy pics hoping to see dramatic change. I guess Ian's pasta feeding shot doesn't show the slender Andy to his best advantage.

    50? Really? Wow. eek7.gif

Remember the cross-country cycling trip all those years ago? I'll bet you could do it again. deal.gif That might take shave off another 20. Of course adding the 5D/24-105 combo + the iPhone/accessories and the laptop might pack another 10-12 pounds.
