Re: RRS New Tripod TVC-33 Versa
spending $69 additional for a "naturescape" plate to make a $699 gitzo tripod secure is imo absurd, the rrs tripod needs no additional plates or parts to keep the camera and lens from falling off of the tripod, and yes it does happen hence the reason the additional plate is sold for gitzo tripods, gitzo makes great tripods… -
Re: More money, more lenses?
Right now at Amazon, the 100 is $69 and the 200 is $89. So I was a little off. The prices do fluctuate a little bit though. I originally purchased the 100, but with just the 40D + grip + 70-300 non-IS + 28-135 IS - i couldn't fit everything in. Apparently it is made for the XT/XTi size cameras, not the XXD size ones. So, I… -

Re: How's the exposure on this?
Ok, using the eye dropper I found I did have to bring the reds down a bit via adobe gamma, but still your edit shows skin that's 27%B 44%M 69%Y, which is a bit yellow for that person, though I agree mine was off (though, even with my old calibration it was off, this was just a straight through process in RSP with a bulk… -

I'm not so sure that we as a people should be going backwards I will say though that my Little 1960's RF camera did feel right at home :D I promise not to make any more none… -

First time post on the challenge and thought I'd give this a try, please let me know why you think and if this fits the theme. This 'tree' can be defined as ordinary as it is just a tree or unique because it's a tree from the James Bay Lowlands. These trees grow in the swamp lands and can be over hundreds of years old. I… -

Re: Corel anyone?
I received an email from Corel telling me to make the following offer to others: Please feel free to direct your friends to the link below which will allow them to purchase PSP for only $69 which is $60 off the suggested retail price! This is a hidden landing page not accessible to folks via Corel.com - the only way your… -
Re: Newbie with questions
The border wouldn't be all around would it? It would only be top and bottom or both sides? It would be nice if the first email included some reference to the photographer so the customer can wrap it all together in their head. Even if it just included in there something like "Thanks for your Smugmug order of Cameron Laird…
