D200 random flat battery.
Hi All, I wonder if anyone else has had this with their D200. I have had it (my second one) for about 2-3 months now and it has worked perfectly with a lot of use. I have been using a MB-D200 grip on it for most of the time. of late, it randomly tells me the battery(s) is flat and disables the shutter. Turning off and on… -

Although the colors of the stripes are very different, I chose them carefully to have identical luminosity, using photoshop's luminosity… -

A Southern Exploration: Basdaku, Moalboal
Yesterday we decided to embark on an exploration going Southern part of Cebu. Our trip was just spontaneous that started out with an itch to shoot landscape that day. Initially our target was Kawasan Falls but due to the great number of tourists and locals going there, we decided to go to Moalboal instead. "Moalboal is… -

I wake up at about 6:30, this task is still on my mind, so I figure I better get to it. I went through the list/thread of photos, and wrote down the photographers name, the title, and number in… -

The Dunes of Death Valley
Specifically, the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, or my personal name for them: Footprint Dunes :D The forecast in the Tetons called for snow/rain/100% cloud cover for the rest of the week in my two week vacation, so I decided to make a slight detour to Death Valley (with a quick stop at Zion for sunset). I went from 10,000 feet…
