Another climbing day in the Slovenian Alps
Mt. Prisojnik was one of the mountains in the Julian Alps (Slovenia) that I hadn't conquered yet, so when I was deciding where to go on a warm October Saturday, it wasn't hard to choose. There are at least five marked trails leading to the top, all involving quite a bit of climbing. Setting off from one of the huts through… -

Re: I got the Sony A900
This is directed at the high ISO people: Some people really want high ISO and need it for for the type of pictures they take. I really don't shoot above 1600, maybe 3200 if I really need to. I found the A900 is awesome at 1600 and very acceptable at 3200. If shooting 3200 ISO and above is required then don't get a Sony… -
Re: Hitting a Wall on Manual Shooting in Small Studio Setup with Strobes.
When I meant keep it high, keep it around 5.6 or f8 so you have enough light for any Depth of Field. There is nothing wrong with 2.8 but at 5.6 you have more room to move around the aperture range, plus most lenses are at their sharpest around 5.6 ACR is adobe camera raw. Its a free program that supports Canon, Nikon, and… -

Just so you can see, here is a cut and paste of a "referral" from wedj. Westbrook Photography A prospect just viewed your listing information on WeDJ.com! Re: > DSS Mega-Challenge #1 (The Elements): Feedback Thread
Some feedback Congratulations to all on some fine work. This was not an easy theme, IMO. I found it interesting that vast majority chose to work with earth, air, fire and water rather than, say, carbon or helium. I probably would have done the same. Here's some fairly random feedback on a few of the shots. The number is… -

Re: Add a PayPal shopping cart to your SmugMug galleries
Lamah, That worked perfectly (see attached) !! D Thank you! So well that I'm inspired to take it to the next level... Is there a way to add a rectangular shaped background (with a choice of color) so it would look like an 'ordering panel' so to speak? I've looked at TalkieT's that you functionalized and based on what I can…
