Everything is relative!
Two to three weeks ago I began uploading some of my "snapshots" to my SmugMug website. I had tried other online gallery tools such as Gallery and Coppermine in my own webspace, but there still seemed to be drawbacks to each. After searching the Net I came upon SmugMug, did the free trial for a few days, and realized I had… -

Re: fire fox vs INTERNET explorer
I like Firefox better than IE for most things. The one feature I like better in IE is Favorites, which are much easier to relocate, backup, and share than Firefox's Bookmarks. Firefox buries the Bookmarks somewhere in your profile, making it difficult to find them for backup purposes without backing up the whole profile. I… -

Re: Snapshots of France ~ Lyon to La Grave
1/19/04 08:00 After a much needed horizantal rest I woke to what can only be termed a bittersweet scene. Views from the chalet The storm had finally broken, the mountain would be open to 3400m, the skies would be bluebird and over 50cm of untouched pristine icecold smoke would be up for grabs. The stoke level was rising… -
Re: When should this one be ready to fly?
August 12th at 2:30 p.m. :D Nice shot but it's difficult to determine when this juvenile will fly the nest. Like a baby walking..it all depends on the individual's ability and the parental encouragement. I've followed many osprey and their mating habits and care of the young. My last observations of a local family.... had… -

Re: First paid senior Portrait Gig...
Looks like you had beautiful settings and a cooperative subject. I hope this won't read too harshly... I think I see a couple of problems here that haven't been mentioned yet. Apologies in advance if you don't like my response. Not just too much flash (and certainly there is), but too much direct on-camera flash. Makes him…
