Re: please critique my first wedding set
first wedding set. I hope the following is helpful...I looked at your website and it is very good. Okay, here goes. Picture composition and coverage is good. However, you have some glaring errors. First being that the white balance is off in some of the shots. White clothes look blue or gray (off white)...custom white… -
Re: A note of dissatisfaction
After using keywords for one race I'm not sure exactly how I'd want to see it changed. And I'm not sure how universal my needs are anyway. The SM guys had it right when they said I needed to use keywords instead of captioning and galleries to sort race photos. This is working much better, and I was able to show some racers… -

Both can do monitor profiling, handle Nikon NEF just fine (although you need a plugin for the GIMP, but I do raw conversion with Bibble anyway) and have more than enough power for… -
Re: The Last Day
Thank you, all. The reality is that taking them wasn't all that difficult - I find that the camera provides distance in uncomfortable situations, and by concentrating on capturing images, rather than thinking about what is happening, I am able to remove myself a bit from the reality of what's going on in front of and… -
Tackling the storage problem
Hi, I visit various photography forums. Something that crops up now and then is "I am going to Kenya for safari", "I am going to the alps" etc., so "could you suggest how many CF cards do I carry, I own 1GB card now" or "Should I get a video IPOD" or "Should I carry my laptop" blah blah. Now many of us do not own laptops,… -
