Don't forget the Sigma 70-200 now has stabilization, and it is a very sharp lens....I have the 70-210 mounted to a KM 7D (and yes I still use the KM's even thos I also have 2 D300's) my 70-210 is just an APO (was for film camera use) and it gives superb photos..........it will save you quite a bit over Nikon… -

I shot for over 15 yrs with only 1 lens....weddings, portraits, concerts, celeb. golfing events.....a VIVATAR SERIES 1 70=210 .......YES there were times I wished it was a touch wider....but I just took a step backwards and that was all it took.....then it and my camera got stolen and was not insured.....so I had to start… -

I 'll start of with I agree with both of the previous posters....and i will add this......an 18-50 or 24-70 both f2.8....having owned both the 70-210 and 24-70 f2.8 (neither were canon glass but) both are Sigmas.....for over 10yrs I shot wiht a 70-210 for everyting and decided I must have wider lens as I was having to get… -
