The NON DG version is usually noted as the 70-200 (sometimes 210) APO F2.8.....The oldest version being the 70-210 will still bring around $500 if in good condition....mine a Minolta mount gets serviced regularly to make sure there is no dirt inside to gall the focusing componets and to make sure it stays properly… -

I have always prefered a longer lens....Ihave had clients thank me for not poking my lens in their face as so and so did on the last shoot....over the years I have adapted to shoot with nothing shorter than the 70mm end of my 70-210 2,8 Siggy......now I am trying to get used to using a 24-70 for landscapes and such..seems… -

My house flooded over the weekend. Bad pipes case... I had my studio equipment set up in my living room and was in the middle of a photo session with my large format camera. well my only lenses for years have been the 70-210 f2.8....now all companies dropped the las 10mm and all of those lenses are now 70-200 f2,8....also I use almost exclusively Sigma lense....but now I also have a 24-70 that when it sells I will be saving towards a 17-70....... my lens choice forthis portrait would hav been… -
