I had a polarizer on acting as a psuedo=ND filter, this was well after sunset and the exposure was 82 seconds, f/14 ISO 200. Thanks Andy, that's probably because they're prepared :) Thanks! Those big cumulus clouds were great, that particular shot is about a 3.5 minute exposure side lit by a full moon. -

its a big event for me anyway
Going to see 12 punk bands tonight...just rang the promoter & asked if they had a photog & if not can i lob with my camera & gear. They said i was welcome to shoot it up close as they didnt have anyone there. Just goes to show it pays to ask ! Gus (whom was a punk way back in '82 & now has nothing suitable to wear !!) -

I got 17-40 F4 to extend the L line of 24-105 and 70-200. I love the 16-35 F2.8 but found it a bit too heavy. The reason for getting the 17-40 instead of 16-35 F2.8 was not only the price difference, but the filter size. As I like to travel and have the 3 Ls in my backpack most of the time, I don't want to carry another… -
