Re: What's up with NEC's Spectraview software?
Sir, Andrew Rodney is a name I have esteemed for years. Just last night I enrapturedly read all 115 entries in this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=82126 In short, I have some idea who you are and what you are capable of. Hence, your question is baited if ever a question were baited :): What should I say if… -

Re: please critique my first wedding set
first wedding set. I hope the following is helpful...I looked at your website and it is very good. Okay, here goes. Picture composition and coverage is good. However, you have some glaring errors. First being that the white balance is off in some of the shots. White clothes look blue or gray (off white)...custom white… -
Re: A Trip Too Small: Fiji, New Zealand, and Some More
Rising early again, which is getting to be an oddly common habit for a vacation, we headed back to the same area and eagerly latched our painfully lacerated fingertips back onto the sharp crystals of granite. We started with a problem we spotted the day before, "Green Wall Essential" V2. Here's Ezra working out the moves.… -
Re: Promenade 1 & 2
Oh, I have the order a little wrong. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif" border="0" alt="" > The first image below should be second above, going backwards from latest to earliest. It's a picture of the skyline looking towards Hobart city from Sandy Bay. On the left is Australia's first legal casino,… -
FS Nikon AI Stuff - Vintage LIKE NEW MINT
Everything here was purchased by my grandpa in the late 70s/early 80's, and shelved since he bought a point and shoot camera soon after buying this SLR gear. EVERYTHING is extremely well preserved. These are in the best (lightly) used condition you can hope to find these things in. If you want more than 1 thing I will… -
Re: Pricing Help
I suggest looking at the established local photographers that have realistic prices. Not the company that has been around for 6 months and charges $5 for an 8x10. :) Also look at what your cost of doing business is, and how much time involved in doing the portrait and processing and figure out what you need to make an hour… -
Lens Line Up Switch...Opinions Wanted
After a year of working with my current lens lineup, it is just not doing it for me anymore. I'm thinking of shaking it up. I'll list my current gear and what I'd like to go to, and the pros and cons I see...any you see I'd appreciate. First off, I am a wedding photographer, and I shoot portraits (mostly kids and families… -
Re: The Cherry Ripe Report
A Kiwi walks into the local unemployment office, marches straight up to the counter and says, "Hi! I hate being on welfare, I'd really rather have a job." The clerk behind the Centrelink desk says, "Your timing is excellent. We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur/bodyguard for his… -
Re: cannot turn away gay weddings in New Mexico
... And did you read that the studio's owner's religious beliefs had no bearing on the case, in that it was a "human rights" case? Personal beliefs are not a defense in human rights issues. The particular human rights violation takes legal precedent over "any" personal belief, and so, it is not a defense. In particular,…
