Dusky Thorn Moth- Ennomos fuscantaria - (A First for me)
Found this wonderful moth tonight, a Dusky Thorn moth (Ennomos fuscantaria) - a species I have never seen before. It has pretty markings on it's wings (I'll show you later) and like most moths, beautiful eyes and feathers. WDYT? San Francisco 49ers Training Camp 2008
For once, I was obtained some San Francisco 49ers' morning training camp tickets instead of my usual 4 pm weekday time slot and offered to take some dgrinners with me like previous years. At the last minute, I decided to send an e-mail to Dan and he was able to come with me! :clap:clap Unfortunately, the 49ers spent most… -
Dull day
Not much to find today, the weather is wet, wet, wet. A very dull day with horrible light. Only thing remotely to get me to point the lens at anything was the rain drops on the petals of a welsh poppy. Used some selective sharpening and selective focusing to achieve the final result. WDYT? Help with some php code
Another forum member Nimai very kindly shared some code here which picks a random image based on keyword. I was using it for a while and it worked fine until a few weeks ago when it started generating the following error: Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0. in… -
The Malham Tree
I had a day out on a national meet with other members of the Canon Fodder Forum, and we went to Malham Cove in Yorkshire. Landscapes are no my forte, but the limestone pavement above Malham led to some opportunities. Instead of the standard eye view of the lone tree in the limestone, I went for the abstract vision and set… -

Re: Sable Falls - Summer to Fall
Thanks everyone for your comments!!! :D The Nik filters are great I'm using Nik Color Efex Pro 3 Complete Edition for CaptureNX2, they also have a version for Photoshop. The Pro version comes with about 53 different filters, some filters are more useful than others. I used the "Indian Summer" filter for my waterfall photo.… -

Re: The Keeping Divamum Sane Thread
I'll have some! :eat I can, again, categorically state that target archery is really difficult when you have to shoot on an empty stomach. I just pulled off my first ever over 9 point average 30 arrow set and then lost it and slumped back 16 points over the next 30... (which is still the best 60 arrow set I think I've ever… -
Re: FTP, gripes...
Have you tried a Windows 7 system? The other issue could be your router - I've got the RV04 Dual WAN router, and it's thrown some strange 'policy violation' errors where it would block packets when I've run some bit-torrents - perhaps that's contribution to the issue. I'd suggest setting it up to email policy violations…
