Re: A few from Satrudays wedding
For anyone interested her are the rest of the pics... http://www.picturegirlphotos.com/gallery/9024327_dDhZr I posted the best 148 pictures only into this gallery. I just don't have time to process all the pics anymore like I used too so I am going to try something new. I will choose the best 150 and post those into a… -
Re: Rotate image issues
I just don't have time to spend on repeated tests, and from now til July, it's only going to get worse. Yes, I've nearly given up. I can't even get an answer about the chart I've asked a buncha times. But I'll post any problems that I'm able to at least post the basics about. I just can't get into making test galleries &… -
Re: An example of beautiful form...
Immovable objects John, I couldn't agree more with your comments but the problem with shooting runners looping a 148 meter track is that there is always someone on the other side and I try very hard to shoot the gaps. This is one where the great stride happened just before the gap. I could have posted the next shot in pan… -
Re: Total number of shutter releases for camera - permanency of EXIF info
Yeah, I downloaded the Opanda viewer and couldn't get the record tag for actuations. There are a few unlabeled records with tons of numbers. I googled this and basically nobody's been able to figure it out. What makes this more complicated is that some of the numbers are 8-bit some are 16-bit and you have to combine them… -
Re: Lot's of slowness today
It's brutally slow here at 11 am on the 12th...I did a tracert and it was sub 60 ms all the way to my site, and only 11 hops (which evidently is on hera.smugmug.com - Greek god server naming? Cool!). It took a good 90 seconds to add 148 images to my cart (using the bulk add tool), and changing the first image to be a 4x6… -

SOLD: Mint D80 Body and Accessories
Selling my mint condition D80 as I have purchased a D300. D80 is a Nikon USA model with 5008 shutter clicks. I bought it new in September 2006 at a authorized Nikon retailer. Never dropped, abused or gotten wet and has not needed service. Firmware is current. Everything is in excellent working condition. I have excellent… -
Re: The Famous " Mormon Meteor "
Awesome vehicle with one heck of a remarkable history. 148.+ for 48 hrs. Amazing feat My wife mentioned it doesn't look the part for that kind of record. I tend to agree given looks alone and associated date. Nice photography Tom. Yellow can be tough, as is the ever challenging red. But your no stranger to that management… -
Mini Challenge #148 - "Cars" Results
Another Mini in the books. Lots of fine shots. I Downloaded all the shots to my computer, placed them in a folder, and ran through them, really, without knowing who did what. (except for those with watermarks) I ran through them a few times, eliminating a few here and a few there. I got it down from about 65 to 15. These… -
Weekly Assignment #148: Your Worst Nightmare 2010
We did this in 2008 (#96: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=109908). I promised to get back to it in a year, but the job (or, more specifically, the lack of thereof ;-) interfered and we never had a chance to revisit it. Now, that we're back in business, I think it's time to try it again, i.e. get a year-old image you…
