Canon service questions Re 100/2.8 macro err99 msg
Yet another err99 question.... I'm pretty sure the aperture blades are stuck on my 100/2.8 macro. If not, I've at least narrowed it down to this particular lens and not a body. I don't get the err99 with any other lens, flash, mem card, battery, etc combo. The lens works fine wide open, but throws the err99 if the ap is on… -

Emboss Blending Layer This is my first posting. I love using photoshop blending layers, as it let's you try things without permanently changing the original. In the photo below, I used a number of blending layers which I will briefly highlight. The original (slide) image is of 3 family pets taken about 27-28 years ago. I… -

Re: Best Grand Canyon North Rim Sunrise ?
N. Rim Grand Canyon morning shots You won't go wrong at either Cape Royal, where you get a rare glimpse of the Colorado River, or Point Imperial, the highest viewpoint in the park. Keep in mind that both are out on winding roads that take a while to drive. If you want to be out there at dawn you need to leave in the dark.… -
Severe performance problems showing images using custom sizes
I've noticed what I would consider to be severe performance problems viewing my site over the past few days. I can't tell you exacty when this started, but I believe it was a recent change. I see the same problem from my work computer, running IE7 and Firefox 3.x (sorry, don't know exact version, and I'm at home now) on… -
Re: Our Disgrace........
levies and other assorted safety devices Well, since we will be spending $100 billion on an additional 10 ft on top of the New Orleans levees, maybe we should throw in $16 trillion to put the entire city of Los Angeles on a rubber pad to avoid earthquake destruction. We could also encapsulate the entire Midwest in a clear… -

Mini Challenge #148 - "Cars"
Mini-challenge "Cars" As the winner of the last mini-challenge it falls to me to host the next challenge. I have chosen Cars as the next challenge. We pretty much all have one. At one time we've been happy or really angry at one. Through my life I've had a very healthy Love/Hate relationship with my auto. So, the challenge…
