I asked and they said that walmart.com is a different thing than walmart store. Went to Best buy and asked if they price matched walmart. yes. they looked it… -

Re: HDR results- Photomatix vs Essential HDR
I am not a pro either and fairly new on this forum, which I found accidently. But I create photos for like 30 years or so and I am a software knitter for this long as well. Continuing the argument...no problem...:D...did I mention the halos in Photomatix and that I have that product as well??? £82 - that's about $119 and… -
Re: Decisions, decisions (Canon lens choices)
Well you could always get the 1.4 teleconverter for the 85 and shoot at 119 2.5....that way you keep the 1/3 stop of extra light with the 85 1.8 and get some extra reach if need be. Might be time to go rent a 1.4 teleconverter.... the plan for the 200 L appears pretty sound to me if you dont want a 70-200 2.8 zoom. The… -
Weekly Assignment #119: Hairlight
One of the (many) things that differentiates a decent portrait from a snapshot is a hairlight. It you pay a close attention, in almost every movie scene there is always a light from the back highlithing the character profile. This time around your task is to have a capture of your subject with a hairlight. Your subject can… -
Re: Photo Storage device

The P2000 was painfully slow in downloading and viewing images, and the battery life was relatively short - especially after a year or so of use. The… -

#119 What Do You Think? C&C Plz
I wasn't actively looking for an entry this time--our 'celebrations' are so quiet and 'lame' compared to what anyone else does. We don't really party, it's just the three of us, etc. Yesterday was my daughter's bff's 18th birthday and we were invited out to eat with them. This shot is of the mini cake but shows the mother…
