A little color left in the Smokies, but not much
I got this one in the early AM today. Not a lot of color left, but a little. I'm about a week or two late. Plus a storm this pass weekend took most of the leaves off all the trees in Cades Cove. In fact, hundreds of trees had to be cleared. There is a lot of damage. I don't know if it is true or not, but one of the park… -

All taken with 40D, 100-400L, a few wth 1.4X Can… -

If the DNG files work OK then there is a problem with the RAW converter in Lightroom towards your native RAW files. If the DNG files don't work then the… -

Re: Harassment or Misunderstanding
The Answer!!! I coppied this from the US copyright law. If this doesn't answer the question nothing will. Re: Flight
Ginger Hey Ginger, Thank you for those very kind comments. The 80-400VR lens is perfect for the shooting conditions at the rookery. Heat is easy to handle. If I'm at the wetlands and I get hot I'll just hop in my car, drink some cold water and run the car's ac at full blast. At the rookery they have a snack bar where I can… -
A few from the Dallas zoo...
I'm not sure I'm, er, ready for posting photos here... but everyone seems to be so kind, and I guess I'll have to get over my fear eventually. I've had my DSLR for a couple of months now and am still way green, but- less a three week period Ilene spent vacationing in her bag while I was sick- have really been enjoying… -
