Re: Batch Resizing in Adobe Bridge or CS4?
Something isn't right here... I normally use Dr. Brown's 123 processor; but using the Bridge CS4 tools|photoshop|image processor I took a 9.4Mb DNG file (derived from a raw CR2 file) and after running it @800 x 800 pixels, quality 10, I find I have created a 145Kb file. So it works as advertised. There is no reason why the… -
Re: Stupid wireless mouse question
FWIW, I have a wireless mouse. It uses a proprietary connection I think but there are those that use bluetooth (they all come with bluetooth dongles I think). Anyhow, that wasn't my point. My point is that it is absolutely hair-pullingly frustrating to use with photoshop. Now, it may just be my mouse but the thing goes… -
Profit Sharing: Need Photos to round out my site
I have a boating photography business at http://smile-123.smugmug.com . I intended to add galleries of photos about the New Jersey shore to help round out the site and build some additional traffic. I now see that building a critical mass of photos will take a long time. So, I'm looking for high quality photos of anything… -
Re: Price lists
I've been doing a lot of research on this lately, more than I should considering my work load. I just found a thread in the Apple Support forums where someone has compared the two services. They said you can usually get the books much cheaper through the other services vs. iPhoto. I think the leather cover for an extra $10… -

Pls: Critique my "EVENT" Photos
SO, I have taken on this challenge of event type photography at the ocean. Three weeks into it and I do have some sales but nothing that matches the personal reception that I get out on the water. Never having attempted mass production of images for sale, I am seeking advice from anyone that wants to offer it. My original… -
Re: www vs no www
Same problem here... I'm having exactly the same battle. When I have setup DNS previously I would use A records and have one for www and one for @ (or everything else). With Smugmug, it looks like I have to set a CNAME record to point at my domain (www.andrewlongphoto.co.uk). My DNS (123-Reg.co.uk) clearly says that if I…
