I have two 1.5TB drives in my MacPro (one for my complete operational system, one for Time Machine) but will need to upgrade them soon to add additional capacity. The Mac Pro may limited to the 32-bit kernel, but that's not a barrier to running 64-bit applications. This is a widespread misunderstanding that doesn't really impact the real performance of the machine. Most people have no need to run the kernel in 64-bit.
