Yes, but are you counting the people who can't see the magic button hidden under the leprechaun?

Sam, did you ever find it for yourself? What I found works for me is to DECREASE (make smaller) the text size as found under the view menu. At the size I normally use I have to do the decrease 4 or 5 times to get the whole thing to show. Then scroll down to the bottom of that post with the form.

I have a solution for anyone who can't see the "submit" button. Fill out the whole form, then click in the "Username" field and then hit your ENTER key. That will submit your form and you will be good to go.

Thanks for letting me in on the secret handshake. It worked. Why I have no idea, but it worked.

Plus I wasn't really worried they know enough to plan for more than whatever the sign up totals show. I just can't see Smugmug ordering exactly 36 2" mini weenies, and 36 crackers. :D

Well, I am going to look after the details of getting to this. So, April, Christina...everyone else - plans for shooting? I might be able to manage Friday - Sunday!

It would be awesome if you can make it out.

As for plans -- unknown except plan for some sort of photography expedition(s). And the limiting factor is time because the bay area has ton of interesting and unique features.

I asked Christina the same question -- What do you want to see and do? I know that you like wines -- a trip to Napa? And you like critters -- the California Coast?

Edited: It also depends on the weather. I think it's best just to make a list of things to see, people to visit, foods to eat, laws to break, etc., and then decide when the time gets closer.

My friend and I are flying in to San Jose at about midnight (Tuesday) 12/2 and we'll be flying out early afternoon on (Monday) 12/8. clap.gif As April said there is TONS to see in the bay area...Fisherman's Wharf, Big Basin (with tree so big you can drive THROUGH them), San Fransisco, Napa. Ohhh it's gonna be fun! I hope you can make it too!

    Christina, April, everyone:
I think I will arrive late Thursday or early Friday. Maybe earlier if I can figure out a way to connect this to a work related trip! I would love a detour through Napa, of course the GGB is a must shoot, and I will probably wish to do some shopping while I'm there. Not sure if that would allow time to travel to Monterey or not ne_nau.gif Of course, I am willing to shoot anything/anywhere, and excited to get to hang out with grinners again!

Excellent, Ann! Since you can't make the shootout this year, I hope this Dgrin weekend is just as worthwhile :D

Do we have to bring presents for Dgrin? Which brings up the point, Smugmug has the "smuggy", we need a similar "-y" for Dgrin.

    Cool idea.

Is there a physical address, so I can begin planning? I always thought SMHQ was an unmanrked bat cave that we mortals were not allowed to know.......?
It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

As per the invitation we need to get a head count before we can decide where this is going to be. Smuggy is helping, but it will not necessarily be at HQ. Sorry for the inconvenience but yes it'll be somewhere in the Mountain View area and that is why we have a cutoff date of October 1st for reply. We'll keep you posted! thumb.gif

Yay, we will get to see Ann this year! iloveyou.gifclap.gif
I may take Friday off, too, so try to get there Friday morning. Would have to start at some ungodly hour, but hey, after all the AZ/UT sunrises this would be a child's play. rolleyes1.gif
I heard a winter surf in HalfMoon Bay is b*tching, 20-footers are common, can be interesting to shoot those. Or... whatever... Maybe get in touch with Bay Area Model Corps rolleyes1.gif

Wellllll I happen to be thinking of the middle of the country as I am reasonably close (about an hour + or - depending on where in metro area you are going) to St. Louis. No real argument; just a different mindset based on location.
