Too much water

When they built some new houses not far from here they destroyed the overflow. The normal water level is 4 to 5 meter less than this.

There might be water everywhere, but the lack of rain dropped the normal level here by about 15 - 20 cm.

Same for the Lake Mead at Hover Dam, Las Vegas. The brown tops where the only things to be seen out of those islands which were under water a few years ago...
