Here's a series from a three-course dinner in France. These were all taken in ambient light with my old Panasonic G1 and the 20mm (40mm equiv) 1.7 pancake lens.

First course: A bed of tasty spinach mousse topped with salad accompanied by salmon tartare / Fresh sheep's milk cheese with olive pate with melon salad

Main course: Stuffed squid on a bed of risotto with "vegetables of the sun" in a yellow pepper sauce. / Mackerel fillet in escabèche with vegetable gratin.

Dessert: All about peaches / All about raspberries

@GSPeP: I agree, this tread is terrible - I keep slobbering all over my keyboard! NIce chocolate truffles.

@travelways: the Panasonic Lumix G1 was the first Micro43 camera and the 1.7 pancake lens is a wonderful small profile fast prime lens with the smallest f-stop being 1.7. I use this lens in the evenings because I can get pretty good shots in low light - it's also quite sharp.
