There are very few things I don't like about life in Bavaria and one is not being able to buy fresh poblano chiles. :-( canned chiles via the Internet... sigh. And corn tortillas aren't so easily available either.
On the other hand, there's plenty of beer to be found...

Fresh poblanos are the best, Sara. Fresh Poblanos are ubiquitous in the Mejican cuisine and markets.
My criteria for Mejicano restaurants when I am in NY is whether they have corn tortillas. No corn tortillas, I don't go there.

We visited a food fest in a small town in northern Italy and here's how we snacked...
Local wine, sausage and flat bread (and I never leave home without my Swiss Army Knife)
Thanks, Taz. Yes, I often pinch myself because I can't believe that this California farm girl ended up living here in Europe, so close to many great destinations. On the other hand I always enjoy seeing pictures of "my" California and Pacific Northwest and remember times spent there with fondness.

Is everyone getting sick of food and drinks already?
We've been super busy in the studio the last week, loads and loads of pasta and wine.
