You sure I wasn't supposed to throw up in the bucket?
I agree it may not be the hottest thing to look at, but I don't think you kids (hell, I'm even too young) can appreciate how really revolutionary that car was when it first appeared in the 70's. The adjustable air suspension was only the tip of the iceberg... it had things that were straight out of a sci-fi, and it was for real, not a show car.
In the same vein, I think this new D5 with the adjustable interior and such, is just what the car market needs, some out-of-the box thinking.
and now you can return to your usual programming, with ridiculous fiberglass skirts and light eyebrows...

Well, I agree my dad is more appreciative than the Citroen than I am, I guess maybe since he drove one, and insists it's a beautiful design (the old one anyways) inside and out, maybe it's an era thing. But I'd like to note that the Mercedes 300SEL 6.3 had an adjustable air suspension in 1967 (ok, really 1968, but they did make IIRC 7 of them - less than 10 at any rate - in 1967).
I think I drove for about 30 miles or so. Then we brought it home, let it cool down, washed it, and now nobody wants to drive it until my brother gets home tonight since he hasn't seen it yet. Sure is fun though...the only thing is I'm so scared of having a deer jump out or something while in that car my dad had to tell me "you know you can open it up a bit here"
Where is everybody?
Oh, and I'm either on stolen wireless or a free wifi point right now...since it's called GuestWireless I'm guessing it's a free wifi point.
looks like I'm getting a new vehicle.
With my new job gotta find something better on gas then my ranger with 4.10 gears in it. So I went and looked at this today. Should finish the paperwork tomorrow on it. Its rated at 24/32 and I was getting about 36mpg on the highway this afternoon.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Fusion. Good luck with it
now if only Ford would add some excitement to the new line of good cars they've recently released, we'd be getting somewhere. Like, when in the name of all that is holy will they bring the damn Falcon's over to the US! Car and Driver finally did an article on a car I've been wanting for years - or, ever since I got to drive one while working there. What a cool sedan!
