I've sent an e-mail, but thought I'd ask here as well. Does the maitenance affect my seeing my site at all? My friends site is visible but mine shows HTTP 400 Bad request. It's says that my site is not found.
Me too
Also having a problem accessing my site. Checked my Godaddy dashboard/ control panel and it seems to be OK. Just a guess that the upgrades and Godaddy don't like each other? I also have a Showit account that links to Smugmug and that is working fine and my other Godaddy sites are all working Invalid URL

Your custom domain isn't set up right, I'm so sorry! We emailed you and all our pros a few times about a year ago with a change we were going to make that would affect improperly set up custom domains. write our Support Heroes, ATTN: Doc, and we'll get you set up properly - it only takes us a minute or two once we have the info from you.
Hi have you guys considered moving to a "continuous release" model, without release or maintenance-related downtime, ever? Granted it is no small change, it could take a bottoms-up refurbishing of your entire development, testing, and/or infrastructure models. (Sorry if this has already been discussed--I didn't read all 11 pages in this thread ;-) If you need help doing it, let me know, I've implemented it at a couple of companies--one a well-funded start-up, the other a Fortune 500 company (or really Fortune 50 or so depending on the year).

We've largely been living in that world for many years now. But even in a properly run continuous release mode, some things still require scheduled and planned downtime... those are often the things that happen in this reserved window.

Heads up, we're using our maintenance window tonight. Sorry for the last-minute notice, we do try to know sooner than Thursday night. Wasn't possible this time.
Hi Folks, we do plan on using our Maintenance Window this Thursday night, Sept 30th. We'll update http://status.blogs.smugmug.com/ soon to reflect this.
Hi, sorry we had a small problem for a few minutes with a little release, and things are back to normal. There is no planned maintenance to night. Sorry for the hassle!
No big deal. Took like 4 or 5 mins, maybe even less, but I was worried when I saw nothing but white page, because we normally get a little note or something when it goes down, with an error message.
My smugmug still under construction & organization with 17,000 images and counting... meanwhile check my Flickr

Guys the point of the Blog is to keep us informed.
http://status.blogs.smugmug.com/2010/05/13/051310-%E2%80%93-scheduled-maintenance/
still says "00:27 PDT We are Read-Write again. Sorry for the delay, lots of magic today."
I kept waiting for that to change! But meanwhile looks like the site is up and I believe it is 05:50 am PDT right now!
