i have been searching the forums for several answers regarding smug site customization, but can't find the answers. sad thing is i'm sure they are somewhere in the forum. please tell me how to search within the results of a keyword search. that way i can "jump" to the exact keyword within the thread results. or please give me something to read that tells me the BIG trick to locating my EXACT keywords.
some of my questions: 1. how do i change the font type of the galleries to Helvetica Neue ultra thin? 2. how do i move a gallery called "FAMILY" with all of its albums intact, to my page titled "Customer Galleries"?
3. how do i reposition my navbar so it is below my homepage slideshow?
4. how do i make my banner appear on all my pages?
THANKS, Claire
Hi Claire In the top menu of the forum click Search, then Advanced Dgrin Search. Enter the keyword(s) and select SmugMug Customization in the dropdown box. At the bottom left select either Threads or Posts, and a listing should come up with the posts or threads that contain the keyword content, and those keywords should be highlighted for you.
Dgrin searching isn't too advanced, so you'll have to read through the linked threads until you find what you're after. No way to jump to the right post, sorry to say.
Also give this a whirl... That same Dgrin search tool also has a Google search text box. Type in your keyword(s) over the Google logo (little text entry box) and a true Dgrin-specific search will be done.
But if you can't find that your topic has been previously covered, please don't hesitate to post your question in the SmugMug Customization forum. That's what it is there for.

RUST sub-forum to Other Cool Shots
Could the Sub-forum discussed in Rusty Chain be implimented? I am sure it would be filled quickly? Could be slightly more broad and include other sorts of non rusty derilict things, such as buildings, but Rust would be enough!

Thanks for the suggestion and we'll take it under advisement. But don't expect any quick action

How do I post to the thread .... Show us your mug! Introduce yourself here?
Do I reply to the last person posting, then add my own materials and intro or do I go to post #1 and reply to that post? Most threads have a "start thread" button, however, I did not see such an option on the "intro" thread.
Generally speaking, there are the two buttons that control the reply. One is at the top and bottom of the page (left side) and called "reply". The other is also marked "reply" and appears in each post--if you use the reply in the post, you'll quote the text and can reply as you like. Top or bottom of the page reply opens an empty post where you can add your comments.
The "new thread" button is available in the forum and used to start a new thread.
