    Can you activate user GordonRD . He wrote in on the helpdesk. He seems to have registered long ago but may not have activated the account back then.

    Feeling stupid
    OK, guys, hear me out.
    I have brand spanking new 5D2 with HD video, and actually a couple of videos taken during the last shoot.

    I would like to be able to *embed* those (and future ) videos in my posts, which are generally in:

    1) People
    2) Go Figure
    3) Technique
    4) Assignments
    5) Cool shots
    6) Landscapes

    When I use Smugnug's share links I'm either getting plain vanilla http links or some OBJECTS stuff that doesn't seem to play well with DGRIN's VB style.

    I saw people embedding videos, but I have no idea how they did it.
    Help?

    You want to use the object thingy. Some forums have the switches turned on for that stuff, and others don't. I'll make sure Andy sees this, and we'll see what can be done. No promises, though.

    People, Other Cool Shots and Landscapes will already display embedded video. We will be turning it on in Weddings, but the remainder will stay as they are. You can post in Action! or just use a link for any other videos.

    Positive Feedback Thread
    Just a suggestion and also just my own opinon.................

    The postive Feedback thread should be seen from the main page of Dgrin, so that as I start down the page I see:
    Cameras
    Accessories
    Flea Market + subforums.......the Positve FeedBack Thread.....should be right there after the For Hire subforum........

    I believe this would drive more prople to leave feedback for transactions done within this forum.....................

    As I said this is JMHO..................................................
