What is possible for Dgrin depends on what our version of vBulletin supports. We do not have the resources to do custom programming. It's as simple as that.

    I find your comment offensive.

    Art,

You gave some feedback, we supplied you with an honest answer. I'm sorry that you don't agree with it but it is our answer.

I think it's disrespectful of you to reply in this way. Seriously.

Got a weird one here: a banned user repeating someone else's postings.

Maybe remove that posting and the replies to it?

It does have that scent, but in case some wedding shooters might be interested, I moved it to the new For Hire forum.

    Thanks.

How a change to the thread edit system.......instead of having a simple and an advanced......cut the simple and just have the advanced edit.....if people do not want to use the things on the advanced they do not have too.....however I am sure I am not the only one that gets tired of having to clik thru so I can add a link to help some poor soul find the info they are looking for........

Maybe I'm mis-understanding your request but I don't see what the problem is.

When you click on "edit", you're able to edit your post with little or no fanfare. To add a link in, you'd "edit" then paste the link into your post. No need to "Go Advanced".

I never paste my links I always use the insert link button or the insert image button......for that matter you have top go advanced to use the smilies unless you know the code for each one .......... I do not code...........

I am just saying it would be much cleaner and nicer and professional to not have to clik thru to get to the advanced options when editing a post......

I'm still not understanding. You want clean and simple. Yet if you'd learn the vB code for links (URL), you'd know that typing google.com was much faster and simpler for most people than looking for the right button to push.

I'd take exception to your remark about "cleaner and nicer and professional". I bet I edit way more posts than you do and it's faster for me to use a simple editor.

Thanks for your input. We'll consider it.

AS I SAID i AM NOT A CODER.....and I have no desire to learn vb code.......and it should not have even been suggested.....this I take exception to....very unprofessional asI see it.........................................

you don't need to know code, you can just "paste" a URL into the body of a post, and without using the link button

and frankly IMHO a few less smilies would make this place look cleaner and more professional

some people absolutely abuse text formatting, creating rather unsightly posts and signatures.
