    Dear friends at dgrin,

I have already PMed 'gus, worried I would miss him before his flight to the US, but I want to say to all of you; I wish you guys a fantastic time at Yosemite! I hope you are able to enjoy one another, enjoy Andy's graciousness, enjoy nature at it's best and enjoy the photography!

Although Andy opened a door for me to enable my participation I regret I cannot. But I will be there with you guys in heart and soul.

Have a great time, return home safely to your families and then start sharing the results!!

    Nir
    Shalom Nir,
We're gonna miss you buddy :cry Maybe you can join the fun at the Fall NYC get together clap.gif A lot of folks who won't be on this trip, will be with us in spirit. Plus, since they're not with us, we will be able gossip heavily about them......Laughing.gif

J/K and thanks for the kind thoughts Nir thumb.gif

    Fresno Airport is closest
I'm brand new to Digital Grin, but live a 25 minute drive from Yosemite. I would love to join you folks in January and may be able to answer some questions about lodging, etc.

I've been to YNP two times, last one - fall of 2004, when I took a Hike Of Death (8 hours drive, 12 hours hike to the HalfDome, 8 hours drive back - ti-i-i-i-i-i-red!!), pictures here: http://nik.smugmug.com/gallery/206898
I would definitely enjoy doing something like that again in not-such-a-tense mode:-)

WOW! What an amazing photo shoot!
