friday, we'll be meeting at the wawona hotel at 2pm.

i will be dividing everyone into teams, we'll be having four teams. our team leaders are going to be: baldy, ian, ed and denny (lark). we'll have four shooting sessions, all around the magic hours (fri eve, sat morn, sat eve, sun morn). marc muench will shoot with each team, that way everyone gets to have some personal time with him.

we'll be using only two cars per team, as much as is possible, to cut down on the number of cars and complexity.

your meals and drinks etc on friday lunch, dinner, saturday breakfast, lunch and sunday meals are on your own. our team captains will be sure and point all of us to the available food choices for sandwiches, drinks, etc.

not only did i hack baldy's bank account, but i managed to get into the petty cash box over at headquarters, and so smugmug is hosting a wonderful bbq dinner saturday night at the yosemite lodge, in the valley, starting at 7pm for cocktails, 8pm dinner, 9pm dessert, coffee. while we're savoring same, we'll be treated to a landscape photography exhibition by our pro-in-residence, marc muench.

that's it. we're making this event really low-key, so the itinerary is loose.

i'm really excited about this trip!
Sounds great, Andy! You have outdone yourself planning this whole thing.

BTW, is anyone else camping at Hodgdon Meadow?

Yes, I will bring some blank CDs...

I was worried about shooting too much, you're bringing a computer too? or does it read directly from the cards?

I will have a 9 in one card/stick reader with me.

Thanks you so much for offering to do this!

    Jeff,

I've had 2 Delkin DVD burnaways and neither worked for more than 24 hours. Make sure you test it thorougly before you have to rely on it.
After hearing from the retailer that they'd also had a "few" returned, I gave up on it and got my cash back.

I hope yours is OK but just double check!! thumb.gif

    Photoshop Elements 3?

    Not too familiar with it.

Does it have layers? Desaturate and Invert (negative)?

    If so, you're in business...

    You guys are great!
I was really worried about running out of memory... if there's a chance I can back stuff up on CD at the end of the day, that would be fantastic. I'll bring some CDs and I have a 9 in 1 card/stick reader I'll have with me.

I do "review" my photos but sometimes I'm just not sure until I get them on the big screen, :):

Then there's the "can I fix it in post" quandry... but I do delete on the go!

Thanks Andy, looks like there will be opportunitys to offload and back up!
