I'm IN!
I've been dreaming of this for long time!
I am very excited to be presenting this boot camp. The chance to spend so much time with photographers and put words to action is really going to be mega-dose of vitamin Awesome!
And the styling of the bride and groom that the photographers will be shooting is really going to make for some stunning portfolio material for photographers to walk away with. Jen will be describing that soon.

None of these are near me but I'd love to hop a flight and be able to come!
You probably have 4 close locations to cherrypick from: Chicago, D.C, Orlando, or Houston.

Wish I had more equipment. I'd probably get laughed at shooting a wedding with just a Sony R1! I'd love to be a part of this, it sounds incredible.

I started shooting weddings with a Sony F717! It's not the equipment, it's what you do with it!
The SLR I use now just makes my job easier. And I used the earnings from my wedding work to pay for the equipment I now use. My old F717 bought my SLR
So don't let anyone make you feel bad for the equipment you use. You have a much larger impact on the outcome of the photo than the camera does!

When I bought my 828 I hung around stf and admired all the 717 photographers stuff. Once in awhile I lurk there and see that there are several who STILL use and love their 717. I sold my 828 to buy an R1. Though I like it, I miss the functionality my 828. I loved that camera. I couldn't justify having two $1,000 cams. Who knows maybe someday I'll be able to justify it if I decide to pursue photography more.
I might just have to look into the details of your boot camp...my husband has always wanted to go to NYC.

Ohhh, you must be thinking San Diego then? They have nice beaches for before or after the boot camp! Althogh I hear Florida has a nice selection of beaches too

Well, come thinks of it, Yuri Pautov uses R1...
Wow - I hope there are repeats of this. I know I cannot manage any of the dates in the west - too close to the shootout for me to get away for more time.
Next Year, Shay?

Well, that's why the Boot Camps are conveniently located near a major airport! No car, no driving needed. Take a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and you're done!
Sitting in the lap of luxury! Boot Camp luxury, that is!

Wish I could afford these latest two New York Workshops. Just watching opportunities fly by. If you live in NY do you need to stay at the hotel?

Hey, Nik's a smart one. Yeah, wattabout Seattle?
Seriously, Ann, I hear you on time away from family. I have the same conflicts. I'm having fun, I hope you know, and no intention of making you feel badly.
