great thread. so many good photos .....I really like having an assigned photo shoot for color. Her is what I came up with.
Wow...that's cool! What is it?
"Consulting the rules of composition before taking a photograph, is like consulting the laws of gravity before going for a walk." - Edward Weston "The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over."-Hunter S.Thompson
Took it this morning, but in the same place and same tree as one i took before, lol, might even be the same bird. I took it near a feeder that I frequent, but scouts honor, I tiook it today.
I like this. How about throwing some lumenence on the globulating red stuff, and use a darker background? Also if you stop drinking some of that stuff before photographing the glass would probably be vertical.
What a nice day. It must have hit 70°F. Went for a ride out to the back of the wind farm. It was a bit windy, so much that when riding downwind at 50 mph, you were in your own dust cloud.
Anyway, some red.
Hope you all had a great weekend. The 10d and stuff will be ordered this week. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Just a quick question. Where was this photo taken?
Great idea to have the weekend theme photo challenge.
Attached is my entry. This is my dog and girlfriend walking in the water at sunset. The picture was taken a few miles from our apartment near Cliff House in San Francisco. I see a little red in this shot
fish, it's the reflection in the tail light of my 4 Runner. Here's more red. Dknapp, fantastic sunset.
ha!

Nice Ford Stang KLXDale!!
Fish! I must protest! My weekend is different from the rest so I demand an extension and exception.
Cheers,
Tim
Shakey, Fish thinks everyone's like him: fast connection, traditional work week. I too have worked non-traditional shifts and sympathize. I'll recognize yer work from a Monday or a Tuesday.
Mate...i was under pressure. Fish was carrying on like a barcoo dog & i was trying to darken the room. Took about 100 shots all simliar but im a true hack & always overcome by volume. The salt was my tripod & i used a medicine dropper to drop the cochineal in.
Ladies & gentlemen I give you my studio...........

Other than the bokeh, I like the other one better. I prefer the framing and the lighting. It was a good shot.
