right-click protected, sharing turned off... throw me a bone, eh?
Only easy shareing is turned off, external links is turned on. Don't you know your way around the right click protection and "hard sharing" as I like to call it?
Um, 12 smuggy orders in the last few days to process, i'd turned off proof delay in the most recent event, shot the day before we left. Will post something soon, hard to leave for 12 days and not have fallout.
Where's everyone else? Pretty sure more than 10 people went, right?
Yeah, I don't want to start sending out emails for those that might not frequent the forums as much, or might not find this. So if any of you personally know someone else who went, maybe draw their attention this way?
We'd really like for this best of to be as comprehensive as possible, with a shot from everyone on the shootout, if possible.

I am at least one weekend away from processing most Glacier shots, and suspect I won't have much that is unique. Are shots from the preshootout acceptable?

Ann, there's no rush, we just want to make sure we're thorough.
Let's just keep it to the shootout, eh? Just submit your best!

this isn't like a homework assignment or anything. relax, make yourself a warm drink and post 'em when you got 'em!

Good to hear. I'm in the same boat, but I've also got a tax return due on Monday.:help
Chris and I have mostly spent out time getting ready for a presentation to our local camera group (COBA - Camera Owners of the Bay Area), so that and work :bluduh have been getting in the way of processing. We'll try to figure out a way to post a link to the powerpoint slides -- any suggestions?
Have been enjoying what others have done. GREAT stuff!
I think these are somewhat different from what we already have...
Nik, let's hold on these. I don't want to have a firm number of shots per shooter, but the idea here is really a collection from everybody, not just shots, shooters. Cool?
Also, I like the idea of really challenging everyone to think hard about their best shot. It's easy to toss a large list of "good ones", much harder to critique yourself to the limit, really pick that BEST shot.
Man i totally suck at landscapes so really this is the only one i got that had any colour to speak of.
Our very own Marc Muench. I was shivering so bad i really needed the IS. I think the shadows need to be blacker but my monitor is an 8 year old CRT that has never been calibrated so someone let me know if its needed please.
it's gonna be a bit for me to get mine up, So far I've only processed one photo... Hopefully I can sit down on my next day off of work and work on the rest of my photos...
Canon 1D Mk II N - Canon 5D - Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM - Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM - Canon EF 85 f/1.8 USM - Canon EF 100 f/2.8 macro - Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM
Ah, but doc, it is, it really is - I am obsessed and it will not go away until I finish processing! I have learned that if I don't finish in a reasonable time I just won't finish at all......
