You know Gus after I saw that I tried it myself but didn't get much. My hands were way too sweaty.
Its easy..my gear is fully insured & if it wasnt ...i would still do stuff like that. VERY nearly lost it all here though with balancing..changing settings & pushing the button with the smugmug strap going crazy in the wind & using my left hand !
Its a rainy day & im clearing out my old PC before i hit the big delete button. I found this if anyone is interested in doing the processing i can send it to them. I have no idea how to process it.
Its a raw file & the colours are as you see...i just lifted the exposure a bit here (its a darker photo in raw)
Looks like I missed it
Was the end of the year a hard stop for picture submissions?
Work and home life have been insanely crazy since before Thanksgiving and I just got back from being out of the country for two weeks. I haven't had a chance to do much with the Glacier pics for 6 or 8 weeks. Definitely want to get a copy of the book even if I don't have one of my pictures in there.
If I missed it then my New Year's resolution will be to process faster after the Arches Shootout.

Nope, haven't missed anything at all! Still working on it, so post 'em up here if you've got 'em.
Hope things have quieted down a bit for you by now!
I finally got my paws on all the files I need for making the book, so I will be crawling into my cave and knuckling under with layouts this weekend. If anyone still has not submitted photos for this and would like to, shoot me a PM and be ready to supply unwatermarked full-res images.

Thanks everyone!
Thanks for donating your time to create this book for us Steph .

Alrighty! The book has been slowly coming together and I think it's safe to say that it's entering the final stages. In my extremely humble opinion, I think it looks totally awesomely great thanks to all you contributors.
As I finish the formatting and tweaking details, I would really like to have a few people to bounce ideas off of, if you will. I would love to involve all 50 of us who were there, but due to technological impossibility would 2 or 3 of you Dgrinners be interested in being an abbreviated advisory board? It wouldn't be a timesuck, just a method of getting feedback from others who are artistic, creative, observant and shared the experience in Montana. It would be most appreciated!
I also wanted to say: Thank you so much for your patience in this project, everyone! I hope you'll eventually agree that it's worth the delay.

What if only one of the four apply to you ? Glad to help if it's needed.
