While I continue to dream of one day getting an egret or heron shot that is half as good as many I see here.... I'll post a couple I've taken in the last couple of weeks..

This guy was watching the sunset.

A couple of weeks ago, he got tired of me pointing the camera his way and headed up to the top of this old restaurant..
    132835126-L.jpg

And this weekend, I caught this heron while down at the small craft harbor at home..

Thanks for playing Denise, the first two are very good clap.gif and on the last one you got to watch out for those highlights.

Thanks Harry.... One of these days I'm going to figure out how to shoot "white"... :) It's one of the many demons I fight with the camera.. :) Maybe one day I'll get down there and you can show me what the heck I'm doing wrong. :) In the meantime... I'll keep shooting.

Chow time at the Venice Rookery. I was there for the first time a couple of week ago. What an awsome concentration of wading birds in such a small area. I hope this makes grade.
