Re: Time for a new compact camera - suggestions?
I tested a panasonic LX2 in the camera shop and it was very cool. Downsides are high iso performance (like every current compact I've tried) and no optical view finder. My dad has the waterproof olympus and its ok for bright, out door shots, but a combo of no af illuminator light (I think the newer models have them though… -

If you have an URL pointing me to specs confirming an IPS panel I'd appreciate you posting it here. If you haven't seen my posts here before, I try to… -

You just have to make sure you are using the right installer from Nik, and during installation that you would like to use it with both Photoshop and Lightroom. I'm also a Photoshop CS4… -
Re: Time To Move Up
Harry has it right.... But there are a couple of thoughts I will throw out for you so you dont completely lose hope. 1) It depends on what you shoot and when... Sports, wildlife you need the fastest (read expensive) glass you can afford, the fastest camera and the longest lenses. All big bucks. If you cant afford that… -
Re: Tamrac Adventure 75 questions
In my experience... There isn't currently, nor will there ever be a single solution bag. Some *may* come close, but won't be the end-all be-all solution we seek. Why? Well, how many different photographic situations will you find yourself in is the question that must be asked... For me, let's see there's: Wedding\event… -
