Re: Primes or Zooms?
As an Olympus user, I live in zoomland. 90% of my shooting is done with the 14-54, giving me a 28-108 FOV in 35mm terms. Next to the 14-54 I use a 50-200 (100-400 FOV), and a 50 macro (100 FOV). I like the fact that with the 14-54 and the 50-200 I can have a 28-400 range in pretty nice lenses that are not too big, ideal… -
Re: My First Foliage Shots of the Season (and first ever with a dSLR)
Up until last year my father lived in a waterfront condo that is just barely out of sight behind this bridge. I've been to this spot in a kayak so many times I've lost count! Yes, this is one of the many dams that were tested earlier this year. Fortunately it held.. but it was pretty hairy I gather. I was in Florida on… -
Re: Olympus E510 - Functional gap to D40x and XTi?
As always a thoughtful response, Ziggy. Although you're right that the best in the Olympus line up (the top pro lenses) are quite expensive, the middle line (the pro lenses) are actually not that expensive. Especially the optically very good 14-54 2.8-3.5 (35mm FOV of 28-108), that sells for little over $400. As an Olympus… -
Overnightprints.com does not want army overseas customers
Right now, I am cooking... I am frustrated beyond belief... I have tried for four days now to order 1000 business cards for 49 dollar. We have an american post office on base, as we are connected to the overseas army Europe. Overnightprints.com only ships UPS, and UPS does not want to ship to APO addresses... When I ask… -
Re: Paper -- luster vs matte and when to use which
[QUOTE=pathfinder Matte and their Polar Satin which is a semi gloss finish - both are 17 x 22 inches. [/QUOTE] 17x22 is a frustrating size, IMHO because you have to crop in order to use the 17" side fully. I've been printing 16x24 on 17" roll paper, which leaves 1/2 inch borders on the short side. Then you want 25" long… -

That looks a lot like my '00 GC ltd, but mine was taupe. Have you had any electrical issues? Maybe windows breaking or crank position sensor or tranny controller going out? Here's my jeep in better days...before I figured out how unreliable it was. I never would have gone there, knowing what I know now. :nah middle of… -
