Re: Alien Bees Flash Units...
PLUS, the 800's aren't really that much more money than the 400. You can always bring the power down, but you can't make the light have more power... I think the 400 was like $220 or something, and the 800 was $280. Buy a couple honey combs, and you can make the 800 so dim, barely any light comes out of it... Stepping up… -

Re: Film buffs: What's this weird spot?
When i got started into Photography the local stores decided to only keep PRO film on hand for the pros that could afford to buy a case of pro packs (that is a box of 5 rolls of 120 / 220 film) at regular retail prices.....You did not have to pay for it upfront, but it had to be paid off with in 90 days...so I hunted… -
Re: Should I be upset?
Icebear: in this instance I had already lost a LOT of money doing this wedding. It would have been nice to recoup some of that loss. The wedding I did one week before theirs? They were furnished a personal use CD as well, and yet their guests have purchased $220 in prints, still counting. Lynn, I would be very seriously… -

Any ideas what his happening here? My Nikon SB600 fires intermittently. With brand new fresh batteries the flash will not fire consistently. Re: Been poking around a bit.
Thanks! This isn't exactly near me, 220 miles away to be exact. I was down there on business and literally stumbled across it while following my GPS to visit a customer. Just proof positive that you need to carry your camera everywhere you go! Next time I'm in the area I'm going to make extra time to explore a bit, plus I…
