Levelling plate for Manfrotto tripod
I'm going crazy because I know I've seen this but can't find it anymore and didn't bookmark it. :scratch I have a Manfrotto 190 and usually use a dual bubble hot shoe level to help with leveling my camera. In the past, I remember seeing a product (which I believe was made by Manfrotto/Bogen) that was sandwiched between the… -
FS: Battery Grip for 20/30D
Price Drop This works w/ the 40D as well. This is an aftermarket grip (Optika I believe) however, the quality is excellent and it is like new. Better yet, it allows you to do auto time lapse photography either via every X seconds or at a specific time it will shoot. I paid somewhere around $190 willing to sell it for $115… -
SOLD - Newton Di100FR2 Flash Rotator
I love this flash bracket but I find I don't need two of them any more. See the Newton Page for an idea of how well this thing works. What's really neat about this bracket is that, in addition to being very light, it will fold flat for easy space-efficient storage. Price: $190 :(inc shipping, insur, PP fees)… -
Re: Just Flowers
I did use a remote shutter release. I used my 60 mm Nikkor macro lense , with my Nikon d80, and just had a hard time getting them sharp. I even tried with manual focus. My tripod is very sturdy. My great husband is feeding my addiction and got me a Manfrotto 190 pro for Christmas with a great ball head. I think it must be… -
Re: canon 1ds mark II
On a side note. Before you get the new computer, you'll need some storage for that card full of images. How will the larger images change your current workflow? Do you think you'll keep fewer on disk and more on DVD/CD? Also, it seems (to me at least) that every doubling of size requires bigger CF to maintain a reasonable… -

Maximum Number of Elements on a Page?
Hi Putting together a couple of pages summarising the year (I'm an amateur transport photographer), and seem to be running up to a point where I cannot add more elements to a page. I have used content blocks of a photo, and an accompanying text block for description. I don't want to do it as a collected gallery, as the… -
Any experience with Marumi CPL filters?
I'm in the market for a 77mm thin circular polarizer and found a Marumi brand in searching through the 2filters website. I then discovered a polish website that tested out various filters and rated the Marumi (at $107) equivalent [first place] to the B+W KSM MRC slim one (at $190) - Link. This obviously sounds too good to…
