FS: 20.1" Widescreen Dell LCD - E207WFPc
Got a Dell XPS go clear up some clutter around here so my Dell LCD is on the block. This panel has great color (best of the few screens I have around here) and is in perfect shape. No stuck/hot/dead pixels. Also is cosmetically perfect. The panel accepts DVI and D-sub and has a native resolution of 1680x1050. Dell has… -
Re: PocketWizards vs STE2
This is a great thread for a noob like me lol. So just to clarify: the mini still needs to be used with a transceiver, and the flex still needs to be used with either a transmitter or another transceiver, right? Basically, the mini acts like the ST-E2, but every flash must still have another pocket wizard (transceiver… -
Leica or Panasonic compact camera?
I'm starting to hate my Olympus compact camera that I bought in 2003, so we're thinking of buying a new camera. We briefly thought about buying an SLR [Nikon D60, or something similar], but we're basically interested in capturing moments, not in mucking about composing perfect photographs. So we're looking into compacts -… -

Re: fall in Oregon
Great ideas! Yes, I love barns and see a lot of them on my way out to Banks. In fact, my friend actually lives on a pig farm with lots of acreage and barns and old farm implements laying around. Sometime I hope to spend the day out there and the surrounding area, just to take pictures. I live about 10 minutes from Jackson… -
Re: SD or CF?
Sorry, I've only ever used CF with Canon because that's what the camera takes. But, Sandisk is doing rebates constantly and this one is until 3/28. You can buy three 8GB Extreme IV cards for $359 and you get a $200 prepaid Visa as a rebate. They have 16GB Extreme III's for $339, but you only get $90 back. 16GB Extreme IV's… -
Which Feisol--standard or tournament?
For the last several months, I've been on the hunt for a lighter CF tripod to replace my too-heavy Bogen Manfrotto 190XPROB. After much research and considering my budget, I'm leaning heavily towards Feisol, as they seem to have just what I want in a tripod--lightweight (under 3 lbs), folds to less than 20in, sturdy, no… -
