Re: Which One? If you look you must vote
Thanks every one! Sorry about those 239 who will be itching, and scratching. :D The photos weren't posed. I was at a small horse show, and when I first saw her she was wrapped up in the blanket on top of the horse waiting for her turn in the riding ring. When she heard the camera shutter she looked up to see what made the… -
Re: UNCW Hockey
Is your monitor calibrated? The WB looks okay on an my uncalibrated monitor at work, but it really stands out on my calibrated setup at home. I took an eyedropper to two of your images and the RBGs values are a bit off to me with the way I process ice hockey. You're coming in as (251-249-232) and (250-249-239) and you're… -

I hope that I don't get anyone upset about posting a question about a Click & Shoot Camera... I love my Canon Rebel XT but since the addition to the family I'm not sure how much I want to drag the big camera out with the boy. We are looking to get a new Point & Shoot Camera and wanted to get any feedback. So far, here is… -

Reminder for everyone attending MI IV Motel reservations for the Comfort Inn in Titusville must be made by January 4, 2007. This is the motel for the Space Coast area. For those attending the west coast portion of the shoot here's the motel info from Ron Wooldrige: "Today, I spoke with Clark, the manager of the Econo Lodge… -
Re: Rotate image issues
I guess I'd say that if only 3 in 10,000 have a problem, I'd be much more thrilled if they spend time fixing the problem with the rotate tool that I reported back in Post #239 first. I'll just paste it here for ease, since there are so many more pages with this new DGrin style. The thing is, a lot more people have problems… -
Some Macbook Pro Questions
So graduation is coming up fast. 1 month, actually. My graduation present from my parents will be about $1500 towards a laptop. I know 100% for sure that I am going to put it towards a Macbook Pro (15 inch). I will be recieving plenty of money from relatives and I have a lot of my own money saved up. I have a few questions… -
Re: Why are 50mm lenses so special?
The Nikkor 50mm, f1.8 D (I'm assuming that's what you bought) is a fine autofocus lens for a bargain price. While a little soft in the edges at f1.8, it has superb qualities by f4. The bokeh at f1.8 is very nice and it makes a pretty decent portrait lens. The DOF control offered by the f1.8 to f22 is plenty to learn from,… -
My very first ever macro shots . . . warning butt shot here
Been shooting photos for 35 years, on and off, but never have tried any macro shots. I needed a faster lens than my zooms to shoot some theater (community musical) shots. Since I've always wanted a macro lens, my thought was to try to "kill two birds with one stone". I decided that I would buy a prime macro lens in the…
