Re: Question about workflow
I am currently reading The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers by Martin Evening which has some stuff that is out of date already, LR is 1.3.1 and it was written and released under 1.0 I think. However the concepts still apply. It will probably help answer a lot of these questions as well.… -

Swartzy won the people photo challenge #5: Photoshop. I asked him to answer a few questions, and this is what he told me: WHO ARE YOU? Hello everyone! My name is Dave Swartz. This is getting harder, I selected 34 photos the first time through. And the last pass was hardest of all. Really nice work in getting the idea of Surf or Turf across to the viewer. One word of warning though, many are slipping back to using the theme words in the title: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=67646 It is… -

Interesting point of view Here's a list of tips, advice, rules and just things to know about photography from Eric Kim, a street photographer who also holds photography workshop classes. Here's the full list: 1. Just because someone has an expensive camera doesn't mean that they're a good photographer. 2. Always shoot in… -
The Road From Zion
Vacation day in Denver. The wife awoke at 3:00am in Florida. She was snowed out of Denver for 2 days forcing us to cancel one day of the trip to Utah. Her airplane landed at 9:00am and were on the road in no time, the wife packed in the back seat asleep. We took to the road in east Denver in overcast skies. No time to stop… -

Re: A One Month Trip of Unfortunate Duration
After Breakfast I walked a short way along the river that lead from the hotel. I am sure there are some interesting pebbles in the river and possibly water, this I wouldn't know because I pretty much stared at the rocks surrounding everything. The gorge was beautiful and instantly went on my list of places to return to. I…
