Re: Which Canon Lens?
I probably would have bought the f4 non-IS 70-200 as well because of value/dollar, but my younger brother bought the 70-200f2.8 IS L first - and well - WHAT COULD I DO?! - let my little brother show me up?? After all he is only 53 - so I went for the gusto to keep up with him. In all fairness to my brother - his youngest… -
Re: T-shirts and stuff
I don't know how we're ever going to thank you enough for what you do for us! We've been mentioned in USA Today, The New York Times, etc., but only one mention (PC Magazine Editor's Choice) had more impact than your letter to the editor in Frommer's Budget Travel Magazine. Not to mention your 53 referrals so far! bow The… -
Re: Sedona Views
Did you realize your numbers are off? There are 5 photos but only numbered 1-4. The very first one is the strongest in my opinion. Other than Castle Rock being dead center in the frame you have great color and tones. The ones you have marked as 2 and 3 are much too HDR'ish for my taste. The last two with the tree are… -
Re: Home page customization moving from legacy to new
This is what I found for my home page: <div id="sm-page-widget-6kfms5BF" class="sm-page-widget sm-page-widget-profile sm-page-widget-5139745" data-typeid="5139745"> So I assume the code I add should reflect yours, but with my widget number and look like this: .sm-page-widget-5139745 { border:6px double #222;… -
Frustrating Delivery Times
I am a little frustrated with fullfillment and delivery times. I recently placed and received an order from Costco.com and from 2 from Smugmug. Here is how it stands.... Smugmug Order #1: (5) 4x6 prints Ordered: Wed 9/13/2006 12:53 PM Date email says it shipped: Fri 9/15/2006 12:13 PM Received: Friday 9/22/2006 Shipped… -
Fujifilm X-Pro 1
I think this is the CSC I've been waiting for. The Pany/Oly m4/3 sensors just aren't doing it for me, and there aren't many lenses that interest me. NEX bodies are well spec'd, but there are precisely TWO lenses that would interest me, but they both look large (24/1.8, 50/1.8). This new Fuji lands with THREE lenses I would… -
My biggest wedding of the year (CnC)
This was, for me, the most important wedding of the year. I mean, I genuinely want to give my best for every couple -- but I wanted to do even more for this couple. Snail Nail (yes, I don't mean snail mail...)
But in the age of photography on the internet, everything is faster than snail mail of course. But snails remain as slow as ever. I know, I know. It's a lousy play on words, lol... Anyway, here is a banded snail, slowly, ever so slowly making it's way across a bit of wood in the garden (belonged to next doors' fence once),… -
Yongnuo - Lost in space? Alternatives?
I'm really, REALLY disappointed. :( I ordered a transmitter/4 receivers (the 602's), a 460 flash and external battery pack from Yongnuo back in early December. As of now, NOTHING. They did provide tracking and all it shows is the packages both left China on Dec 10. No other updates since then. That's 7 weeks since they… -
