    Battery
    One of the reasons I am loyal to a local store. When I ordered the camera, I didn't know about battery scarcity. But when they called to tell me the camera would be in I asked for an extra. They said their shipment would probably be in a day after my camera so they are holding on to one for me.

    Tested the HDMI port on the 5DmkII. Details from my other post about that uncultured mongrel.

    The 5DmkII ROCKED in video mode through the HDMI port.

    Procrastinating, I know.... My photo funds were pretty much fully depleted after the shootout, 50D and all the recent additions to the studio. So it took me a few months to replenish the $$ back... Luckily I got a few gigs lately, my modeling/portraiture venture seems to finally starting paying back little by little :-) mwink.gif
    Yet of course, I'm almost broke again now:-) rolleyes1.gif

    Looks like the Thousand Oaks Contingent of Dgrin is all Mark 2 shooters then...Nik, I know you didn't get it at Hooper....I got mine from Canoga - about 3 weeks from order to delivery but still waiting on the extra batteries.

    Well... I've had the 5DMkII for about three weeks now.
    Great camera thumb.gif
    However after putting the 50/f1,4 on it I got some very inconsistent results in terms of AF (my other lenses are f4).
    I did some extensive testing (ruled out the lens) and the body is now at Canon for AF adjustment rolleyes1.gif
    They said they had 3 bodies in for the same issue the last week... eek7.gif
