Here is a Muse that is way up on the now defunct (by hopefully soon to be restored) New Bedford Orpheum Threater:

I've been loving most of the photos in this thread, but there's something about this HDR tilt-shift that just tickles me. Fantastic! Looks like it's out of a dream. So very moody. Kind of wish it was cropped to place the bridge tower farther to the right another 10-20% though.
Thanks. I messed around with the composition on that one and found that if I cut the right side off the photo was unbalanced, so I put the bridge in the middle
As promised, ........ some time ago!
Here are some HDR from this morning.

A little bright for my tastes Don but done very well. Can't beat the aged look in HDR. Well done!
These a little better?

Something different for me. Hand-held 5, exposures of my sister's Begonias. Wish it was brighter out so I could have used a narrower aperture to get more DOF but I still like the detail in the petals in front. The colors themselves are also amazing, IMO.
Ok. I royally suck compared to all the beautiful ones here I see, but this is my very very very first try. This was from 3 exposures.. If anyone has a good tutorial from a single one I would love to try that too. I think some of this would look amazing on one of the photos I took of my horses.

Frank and Kandie :
its possible to use one shot
the tutorial is allready in photomatix
use one RAW
in your raw-converter or lightroom , change exposure-value 3 or 5 times ;
-4 , -2 , +2 and +4 , 0 you allready have
save them all as JPG or TIFF [ TIFF is better ]
thats all
no tripod needed
Can you tell me how you took this, meaning... was it nighttime, dusk, sunrise/etc... any color changes/etc... - can i have a larger image of this for my background (1920x1080 x 2 monitors))
I often use single RAWs for a tonemapped HDR. Here is one from this past weekend and I even used a flash for the single RAW because there was absolutely no light on in this part of the abandoned theater:
And another using just barely any light. Talk about long exposures and high ISO needed to get this shot. Don't let the final image fool you. We are talking extremely low light:
Few I took last week or so. Didn't get much response in my post I did earlier about it, so hopefully I can get some C&C over here.
Sweet location. I like 2 and 3 the best. I cannot stand #1 though!!! That fallen tree has some kind of weird blur or lighting that is messing with my eyes big time. Make it stop! Please make it stop! haha If it weren't for that... I'd really like that one.
Some under the top HDR I also posted elsewhere....
Hope you like!

I need to learn how to make the HDR effect more subtle!
I will post later, keep showing us your nice HDR/tonemapping shots.

Took this one this past Sunday. Kinda proud of this one considering it is 5 exposures and hand-held too.
