    I like Waterpath
Waterpath is gorgeous, Lynnma. I see moss on the trees? So southern looking and peaceful. But the tones are great, detail high and low, smile.

Just stoped in to take a quick peek at the entries for this weeks contest and was struck by several thoughts as I tried to wizz by. First we have someone claiming to be the Blair Witch.....Fish, in Gun no no Valley, shows us bullets, Ginger congratulates him on a wonderful execution. (I just don't want the details. OK?) Then we have Harvy claiming the path of knowledge has somethning to do with congress. rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gifrofl

Re Uphill and the other one
Lynn, I think he did those two wonderful pictures. Just hadn't wanted to type anymore.

They kind of remind me of your tree shot, over a river, sepia or blk and white.

Made me think I should be doing some blk and white. I am thinking of ordering a Kelby book on photoshop.

    Those are great pictures, Sid.

Ginger, Lynn, thanks. Just so you know, if Photoshop layers were paint on a cavas, the paint on the second one would be about an inch thick!

Lynn put me on the path by mentioning duotones. I played with them, after doing the Ansel Adams Channel Mixer. Blue really makes B&W pop.

    Lynn,
I'm so sorry to hear about your ankle. :cry Whatta drag. I hope you're not off of your feet for too long.

Lynn... Are you for real? Did you really break your foot? I feel for you if you did. How badly? How long will you be off it? Augghhh. I had major foot surgery a few summers back and the worse part was not the pain, but the inconvenience of having to lug the heavy foot around! Gave new meaning to the term "lead foot."

Sid, I love Uphill. Beautifully executed!

Sid, was that sky the real deal or was it added later? Either way, great image - looks like Andy's IR work.

The sky is what was actually there... just greatly enhanced first with extreme Channel Mixer, then duotone using dark blue, plus a little layer masking.
