    Delaware Canal, Uhlerstown PA
This is the covered bridge over the Delaware Canal and towpath in Uhlerstown PA. My parents live nearby and I've walked here coultless times in the last 40 years. This spring, it is particularly lush with all the rain we've been having.

Thanks Damon, Still no people though! Although I think it's going to tough, I'm looking forward to next weeks assignment (assuming "people in your neighbourhood" stays in front)

i liked this one best of your entries dugmar. it does need a bit of straightening in ps imo. a fine shot, just a bit more "in-post" and you've got a winner.

I shot pathways all day. This was the best I came up with. Really discouraged today. I had hoped for better results.

i liked this one...would like a bit more exposure on the horse though. tough, i know.

I'm still firmly in the learning stage with the new camera, only taking snapshots at this point. Lots of room for growth though, which is one of the reasons I bought it.

i like the compo, the people either need to be more or less clear/sharp.

hey ian, i think this shot has potential. it could use a bit more punch in ps though imo .. beef up the colors, maybe some curves adjustmetn to make it "pop."

    This Old House

first one is quite lovely. a person / subject in the shot would make it a winner. the second is very nicely done, though more of a stairway than a path. it got edged out by the finalists.

i dunno. ... it's a lineup of bullets... perhaps if you put them at an angle to the viewer i would have been more engaged.

it's more of a lake or riverscape to me than a pathway, probably due to the hanging branches. i like the shot but it got edged out by the finalists.

Andy, thanks for taking the time to comment on all of these. Funny thing is with the first, I had several shots of that scene with my daughter in it, but somehow none of them worked like I had hoped, so I was left with an empty path...

Anyway, thanks again for taking the time.
