Oh dear Humy, sorry bout the disc... bet that hurts a bit..
yerbut the drugs are just too good....i am getting up at sparrows fart (4 am yankspeak) to watch benny hind & am loving every bit of it. Wish i could stop dribbling though.
Im even considering rocking up to the local vet & claiming im a horse with a bad disc to see what he's got on the shelf.
I could not take care of four dogs properly, so I had to rehome one. These are the three who are staying on the pathway with me. They are in front, Katie, then Merry Chapel and, in the back, Skye.
Right outside my backdoor. Filled a Shenanigans assignment, too.
Since I have not been playing by the rules I've deleted the other pictures and made some new for this challenge yesterday on my way home:
SeeMoon:
This one is really quite beautiful.
I really like the the shadow and light play against the dirt road as the sunlight filters through the canopy of trees. The perspective effect as the road tips over the crest of the hill, giving the illusion that there is a small green door to somewhere, at the end.
Peaceful and serene.

No good lyn..ankles are fickle things ..they take a loong time to come round. So many ligaments in there. I did a heavy sprain 5 years back & it still reminds me about it sometimes.
Nup...im still riding my bike. I just dont move very fast....you become very good at picking up stuff with your toes around the house with a crook back.
I have seen some realy great pathways! A special good job to Lynn, on her personal pathway of pain. No prize winner here but what the hay...it's a pathway. The cat told me it was "His Pathway"

The end of the path is just the beginning...
I went out to the harbour today.
These must belong to the Jones family.

Well, I think I shot my last photo for this assignment today.
But once again I got a lesson in how important the details are. This landscape was shot in portrait mode--NOT paying attention! The dial moved and I didn't notice.
Anyway, here it is. Just cropped, adjusted the contrast and sharpened.
It's a fire break here in SoCal. The sunset made it look fiery to me, hence the name:
I like your pictures, Brian. They remind me of home. Is that why you mentioned the Jones family? Smile. ginger jones
Ginger,
I was comparing the number of boats and thinking of the expression "Keeping up with the Jones's"
I'm glad you liked it.

Adversity brought you a very good photograph, Lynn. I really like it, but do you need a wheelchair? ginger
yeah.. house is big, no cast on yet, crutches hurt like a son of a gun.. gotta get around faster than a slow hop. Seeing the specialist tomorrow to decide whether to cast it, or surgery... wish me luck... ankle feels pretty good but body hurts all over from getting about.. and I consider myself pretty fit.. I'll be stronger when this is over thats for sure
